Ed Martinez

Vocals and percussion

Ed Martinez, a retired Air Force photographer, found a new rhythm in life as a vocalist. With a passion for diverse musical genres, Ed started his musical journey in 2014, lending his percussion skills and vocals to the Collinsville, Illinois trio, Tres Tequilas. From capturing moments through a lens to creating them through music, Ed looks forward to every performance.

 

Jeffrey Levine

Guitar

Jeffrey is the band songwriter and arranger. He’s been playing in bands since he was 15 and has a degree in Music Composition from UC San Diego. You can hear some of his songs on Spotify - “Lefty and the Hatman”, and “Blue Noise Kitchen.” He is relatively new to St. Louis, and is slowly adjusting to the weather.

 

Willem von Hombracht

Bass

Through the years Willem has worked in quite a wide variety of musical situations, easily moving from one style to another, including orchestral and chamber groups, folk music from around the world, including Hungarian and Romanian gypsy music, Russian folk music, traditional Persian music, West African music, traditional Cuban and salsa, Caribbean calypso, Brazilian samba, Mexican Mariachi and Argentine tango; various rock, jazz and blues bands. He also collaborates on projects with poets, dancers, actors and painters. Since 2003 Willem is adjunct professor of jazz studies at Webster University (Webster Groves)
